Qualifications

First Class Degree in Speech Pathology and Therapy from Manchester Metropolitan University  (2006).
Sandra Robertson Award for Clinical Excellence
I have previously worked at specialist level in the NHS and I am fully registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.

My name is Mhairi Mason, I am a Speech and Language Therapist with fifteen years of experience working with children and young people with communication difficulties.  I can provide therapy for:

  • Speech sound difficulties

  • Delayed language development 

  • Stammering in young children

  • Reluctant speakers

  • Difficulties with social communication, play and interaction 

  • Supporting communication for children and young people with additional needs which can include signing or symbols alongside spoken language.

  • Communication for adults with a learning disability.
